CropBytes – Fishing Mini Game Tournament

Are you ready for the ultimate fishing challenge? CropBytes presents the fishing mini-game tournament!

This exciting event is all about testing your fishing skills and competing with other players to make it to the top of the leaderboard. Only the best of the best will be featured on the leaderboard, so get ready to reel in some big scores and win amazing rewards!

There are two types of Fishing Tournaments: The Public and the Private tournament.

1. Bait Fishing Tournament

Know how to use the Fishing Rod

You can gather points by collecting Fishes. The bigger the fish, more the points.

Keep an eye out on the live leaderboard, you need to be in the top 3 places to win daily.

Here’s what you need to know more about the fishing mini-game tournament:

  • The leaderboard is based on the top score: Only the users with the highest score will be featured on the leaderboard. So, make sure you’re at the top of your game and aim for the highest score possible!
  • Rewards Pool:
    • 🥇1st Place – 75 CBX 
    • 🥈2nd Place – 50 CBX 
    • 🥉3rd Place – 25 CBX
  • Each user is entitled to only one place: If you score multiple times in the top three, only your highest score will be counted. So, make sure you play your best and get the highest score possible.
  • Daily event with scores resetting at 00:00 CB time: The tournament is a daily event, so you have a chance to compete and win every day. Scores will reset at 00:00 CropBytes time, so make sure you’re ready to go right when the tournament begins.
  • Set your farm name to see yourself on the leaderboard: To ensure that you appear on the leaderboard, make sure to set your farm name. This way, you can easily see where you stand among the other players.
  • Play unlimited times to win rewards: There’s no limit to how many times you can play the fishing mini-game. So, keep playing until you make it to the top three and win amazing rewards!

2. Private Fishing Tournament

The Private Tournament feature lets you compete in exclusive fishing tournaments with your friends. Get ready to jump into the fun. Grab your unique entry code from the tournament creator and enter the competition within the designated start and end times. You will need to secure a spot as there is only limited participation. Can you reel in the big scores to top-three spots on the leaderboard?

Participating in a private tournament is easy. Simply click on the ‘Private’ button when you’re in the fishing area, enter the tournament code, and you’re all set to compete.

One of the best parts? Your scores in private tournaments also count towards the general leaderboard. That means more opportunities to show off your skills and win rewards.

And for those who love to share their victories, we’ve added a ‘share-on-socials’ button for your highest scores. You can also join a tournament directly from an external link which can be shared by the creator of the private tournament.

Please note that in this beta version of the Private Tournament, only CropBytes can create a tournament and share the code for participation. We will extensively use this feature to work with our partners.

The upcoming version will allow you farmers to create your own tournaments which will also include the option to have Paid or Free participation.

Gathering what we we have for the Private Tournament

Entry Code: Each tournament has a unique code. You’ll need this to participate. The entry code for a private tournament can be generated by the creator of the tournament.
Time Period: Tournaments have a start and end time. Make sure to participate within that time frame.
Rewards: Exclusive rewards for the top three scorers in each tournament. Will you be one of them?
Limited Slots: Each tournament has a limited number of slots. Make sure to secure your spot!

3. Speed Fishing Mode

Get set to reel in excitement with the all-new Speed Fishing Mode! Since its launch in March 2023, it’s taken the CB community by storm where 1000s of CBX has been earned by skilled anglers, and now we’re adding even more adrenaline-filled changes.

Catch-All Chaos: Say goodbye to the small-medium-large order. Now, the faster you fish, the faster you score. And remember, each fish is unique, and their speed and behaviour will challenge you in new ways. Prepare to see some rods sizzle!

Bonus Boosts: Boost your points with bonus missions. How about catching 3 small fish in a row for a 3x bonus? Complete these exciting tasks to boost your scores!

Player-Driven Prizes: Ever since March, you’ve been asking for it, and here it is: there is now a pool entry fee which adds up to the total pool, invite your buddies, and let the competition begin. Remember, the more friends you bring in, the more the pool reward at the end. The pool reward minus a small platform fee, goes to the winners. So, it’s all to play for!
